Calling for seat sponsors and donations

Dear F.O.C.U.S. Members and Friends,

I am writing to enlist your support for an endeavor that is very dear to us all. The Hong Kong SAR Philharmonic Orchestra has most generously nominated F.O.C.U.S. to be the recipient of funds raised through its Charity Concert, “Music for Education, a Summer Charity Concert in Aid of Children with Learning Differences” to be held on Monday, June 14, 2010

This is a splendid honour and opportunity for F.O.C.U.S to increase our support for SLD and ADHD children, their parents, families and teachers. The monies raised will go to our F.O.C.U.S. Education Centre for remediative reading, study and social skills classes, for more intensive teacher training and for our parent support meetings and guest speaker events. The ultimate beneficiaries are, of course, all of our children, Hong Kong’s children who are challenged with these learning differences.

Now, all we need is you, all of you, to enable F.O.C.U.S. to do its work. Every ticket we sell and donation that we receive will go towards our work for F.O.C.U.S. children. Please help us by buying tickets, making a donation and promoting this to your friends, neighbors and colleagues. Together let’s help our children to reach their best potential, to be all that they can be. They so deserve this.
